Balfour Beatty Capital helps schools create new programs that benefit the youth of local communities. We go beyond the traditional curriculum to develop innovative ways to use school facilities.

"I Love My School"This campaign was developed to increase the sense of pride and ownership among students at our Rotherham Schools project. The aim was to reduce levels of vandalism, litter, graffiti and malicious damage. |

Building Learning CommunitiesRotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and our concession Transform Schools Rotherham developed Building Learning Communities as a not-for-profit company. Its aim is to promote and manage the use of project schools by the local communities they serve. |

London Youth GamesAs the 2006 and 2007 corporate partner to the London Youth Games, Balfour Beatty Capital is working to encourage children to become more involved in sport. Over 20,000 children take part in the Games each year. We have set up a sports development grant, in partnership with Help a London Child, to help local neighborhoods improve sports facilities. |

Soccer Action

Arts for Health
Balfour Beatty Capital's first Arts for Health program provides an opportunity for all University Hospital of North Durham employees, patients and visitors to spend time together, to engage in arts activities and to generate a discussion amongst health professionals about the benefits of arts in the healthcare setting.
