"I Love My School" Program
Balfour Beatty Capital initiated this project to increase the sense of pride and ownership in schools in Rotherham, specifically with the aim of reducing levels of vandalism, litter, graffiti and malicious damage.

The Love My School campaign encourages students to respect their school, keeping it clean and tidy, enabling them to continue to enjoy a vibrant and productive school. Each school has been issued with "Love My School" branded trash cans to help keep their school litter-free. At the end of the term, the schools are assessed and the results published in a report card. Best-performing schools are awarded 'Top of the Class' or 'Most Improved' status. There is a cash prize for the winning schools each term. |
Working via the School Council, students are motivated to look after their own environment, encouraging each other and ultimately making the spending decisions, should they win!
Soccer Action
As part of the Stoke Schools project, a Balfour Beatty Capital program targets disengaged young people and encourages them to work as a team and participate in purposeful out-of-school activities. Read more >
Arts for Health
Balfour Beatty Capital's first Arts for Health program provides an opportunity for all University Hospital of North Durham employees, patients and visitors to spend time together, to engage in arts activities and to generate a discussion amongst health professionals about the benefits of arts in the healthcare setting.
