Community-focused approach
At the beginning of a project, we work to create a design that meets the community’s needs. During the project, we keep the community up-to-date on progress and milestones, as well as on potential impacts. When decisions are made, we make sure to include the community’s voice in the discussion, consideration, and determination of solutions. While operating a facility or infrastructure, we minimize the environmental impact of the work. We decrease the social disruption caused by major construction, and we always plan for health and safety, both of the community and of our employees and subcontractors.

Giving back to the community
Together with our sister companies in the US, we have built Habitat for Humanity Homes in Atlanta, Seattle and Cleveland. We support the United Way, staff the phones for public radio membership drives, mentor students one-on-one, donate teddy bears for distressed children and show group support for charity walks. Our employees have always given back to their communities and are always interested in finding ways to give of ourselves. Whether through grassroots charity involvement, company-sponsored events, or affiliations with local, regional, and national nonprofit organizations, we are committed to continually helping people in the communities in which we live and work.
