Many of our projects are in areas of multiple social deprivation or other locations where the company has a chance to make a positive difference.

Environmental regeneration programBalfour Beatty Capital has continued our work with UK environmental regeneration non-profit Groundwork to improve the physical amenities in a number of communities where we have a long-term presence. In 2006, this involved projects in the UK cities of Hertfordshire, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and London. |

Houndshill Shopping Center rejuvenationThe Houndshill Shopping Center is a flagship regeneration project as part of the revitalization of Blackpool, UK, following years of under-investment and decline in the town. As the first major construction project in the town center for some time, it is under close scrutiny from the local community, including residents, tenants and businesses. |

Soccer Action
