Birmingham Gala Day Program
Birmingham, UK, was a hive of activity in November 2006 as Balfour Beatty Capital and its team arrived with bhangra dancers and samba drummers.

A series of sports and arts workshops took place in each school and culminated in a Gala Day that showcased the skills students had developed. Each workshop was conducted by individuals with different skills, including street dancers, soccer coaches and African drummers. The workshops covered both arts and sports to gain an understanding of which strategy would be most suited to Birmingham. |
The Gala Day took place at Crescent Theatre. Students from different schools interacted before taking the stage to show off their new skills.
Soccer Action
As part of the Stoke Schools project, a Balfour Beatty Capital program targets disengaged young people and encourages them to work as a team and participate in purposeful out-of-school activities. Read more >
