A history of success
We have more than a decade of experience in long-term public-private finance projects and are committed to investing in and creating essential infrastructure. Our investments have exceeded $600 million in public infrastructure projects such as schools, hospitals, roads and transportation systems.

An industry pioneer
Balfour Beatty was founded in 1909 in the United Kingdom. At its inception, we provided engineering, contracting and operating services for railways, tramways and lighting properties. By the 1950s, we had completed many complex civil engineering projects. Over the next decade, four divisions were formed: Building, Engineering, Rail and Investments. Today, Balfour Beatty continues to command the international market in the construction and maintenance of hospitals, schools, airports, road systems, rail, buildings and complex structures.

Forward-thinking growth
Balfour Beatty Capital was established in the UK in 1997 to lead Balfour Beatty’s privately financed infrastructure projects. Today, we offer a wide range of public infrastructure investment services and have expanded to multiple global locations, including the U.S. Our services include project finance, project promotion, development and execution as well as long-term asset management and operations.
